Matthew Allen is a multi-disciplinary artist, and former Surfer Magazine Art Director, from Southern California. Matthew's curiosity about life, new art processes, and styles keeps him and his art ever evolving. Currently Matthew's explorations have been directed at animation, filmmaking, and polaroid emulsion lift photography, while he continues pushing into new ground with his block prints and watercolors. An avid surfer, Matthew's time in the water, and at the beach, heavily influences the art that he creates.
